Presently employed as a 3D Environment Artist, I am tasked with the creation of the initial 3D environment, specifically focusing on blocking out the 3D environment for virtual production volume. I actively seek feedback from Directors, Virtual Art Directors, and 3D Leads to refine and enhance the environment. Following the approval of the block-out stage, my responsibilities extend to meticulously set dressing the final environment. In the course of this production, I engage in basic modeling, perform optimizations, and undertake fundamental material creation within the Unreal Engine 5.2
I played a key role in a 3D Animation project directed by Humber faculty, collaborating with peers. Initially tasked with supervising and leading the 3D team, my responsibilities extended to orchestrating the main set dressing in alignment with the provided storyboards. Additionally, I took charge of texturing the 3D assets. Furthermore, I played a pivotal role in managing the entire rendering process, collaborating with other rendering leads and supervisors to ensure a cohesive and successful outcome.
Served as a 3D Environment Artist on a game development project directed by faculty, collaborating with fellow game development students. A key aspect of my role involved managing optimal polycounts for game models and applying textures to assets using Substance Painter. Additionally, I established a foundational material workflow within the Unreal Engine. Effective communication with team leads and peers was paramount to ensuring the success of the collaborative efforts within the team.
